What is Perimenopause and Menopause?

Perimenopause can begin as early as your late 30s or early 40s.

Lab values can be misleading. Many women are told their labs are “normal” — even when they feel anything but normal.

Common early signs include:

  • Shortened or irregular cycles

  • Increased anxiety

  • Worsening PMS

  • Sleep disruption

  • New weight gain

  • Decreased stress tolerance

Menopause is officially defined as 12 months without a menstrual period. After this transition, estrogen levels remain low long term.

Common Menopausal Symptoms Include:

  1. Night sweats

  2. Hot Flashes

  3. Mood swings

  4. Anxiety or irritability

  5. Brain fog

  6. Poor sleep

  7. Low libido

  8. Vaginal dryness

  9. Menopause-related weight gain

  10. Loss of muscle mass

  11. Decreased bone density

Benefits of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Hormone Replacement Therapy does more than reduce hot flashes. When prescribed and monitored appropriately, HRT can support both symptom relief and long-term health.

Relief from Menopause Symptoms

  • Reduced hot flashes and night sweats

  • Improved sleep quality

  • Stabilized mood and reduced anxiety

  • Improved focus and reduced brain fog

  • Increased libido and sexual comfort

Metabolic & Body Composition Support

  • Reduced visceral fat accumulation

  • Improved insulin sensitivity

  • Better energy levels

  • Support for lean muscle maintenance

Bone Health Protection

Estrogen plays a critical role in maintaining bone density. HRT may help:

  • Slow bone loss

  • Reduce osteoporosis risk

  • Support long-term skeletal health

Cardiovascular Support (When Initiated Appropriately)

In healthy women who begin therapy near the onset of menopause, HRT may support cardiovascular health and metabolic function.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)

Evidence-based testosterone replacement therapy in Jackson, Wyoming. Comprehensive lab testing, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing medical supervision.

What is Testosterone Replacement Therapy?

Low testosterone (Low T) can affect energy, muscle mass, mood, libido, recovery, and overall performance. Our approach focuses on comprehensive evaluation, personalized dosing, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safe and effective hormone optimization.

Treatment is only initiated after appropriate lab testing and medical evaluation.

Our TRT Process at Grand Health

1. Comprehensive Evaluation

We begin with a 60-minute consultation reviewing symptoms, health history, and lifestyle factors.

Extensive lab testing is performed to assess:

  • Total and free testosterone

  • SHGB

  • Estradiol

  • CBC

  • Metabolic markers

  • Thyroid function if indicated

2. Personalized Treatment Plan

If clinically appropriate, TRT may include:

  • Injectable Testosterone

  • Topical Formulations

  • Adjunctive therapies when indicated

3. Ongoing Monitoring

Patient safety and optimization are priorities. Follow-up labs and visits are included to monitor:

  • Hormone levels

  • Hemaglobin and Hematocrit

  • System response

We adjust treatment to maintain physiological balance — not supraphysiologic dosing.
